Honda Talon, FourTrax Rubicon, and TRX90X Return Unchanged for 2025
Honda has confirmed the return of several popular off-road models for the 2025 model year, with no major changes from the previous year. This includes seven different versions of the Talon UTV, which continue to offer a blend of performance and durability for a range of off-road adventures. Alongside these, the FourTrax Rubicon 4x4 Automatic and the TRX90X ATV will also make a comeback, maintaining their strong reputation for versatility and reliability. These models are favorites among enthusiasts and continue to deliver the high-quality experience Honda is known for in the off-road market.
2025 Talon Two-Seat Versions
Believe it or not, Honda's Talon is five years old already, the model dating back to a 2019 debut. Offered again in both two and four-seat variations, the former is the sportier one while also coming in at a lower price point. Honda has two versions of the two-seat Talon, to the tune of the Talon 1000X which is geared towards tighter woods trails, and the Talon 1000R which is more for the desert-going, high-speed junkie. For 2025, both come with Showa suspension or intelligent FOX Live Valve technology.
Here are the versions of the two-seat 2025 Talon:
- Colors
- Talon 1000R FOX Live Valve: Pearl Red; Matte Navy Blue
- Talon 1000R: Matte Abyss Black
- Talon 1000X FOX Live Valve: Pearl Red; Matte Navy Blue
- Talon 1000X: Matte Abyss Black
- MSRP

2025 Talon Four-Seat Versions
The four-seat Talon is a bigger beast, and brings along with it three trim levels: The Talon 1000X-4 FOX Live Valve which is geared towards "tight technical terrain," the Talon 1000R-4 FOX Live Valve which is for "high speeds and open terrain," and the Talon 1000X-4, which is like the first of these three but with Showa suspension instead of the higher-end FOX kit.
Here are the versions of the four-seat 2025 Talon:
- Colors
- Talon 1000R-4 FOX Live Valve: Pearl Red; Metallic Navy Blue
- Talon 1000X-4 FOX Live Valve: Pearl Red; Metallic Navy Blue

2025 FourTrax Rubicon 4x4 Automatic
The Rubicon is Honda's most powerful ATV, and far and away one of the most reliable and durable four wheelers on sale today. It shares a 675cc single-cylinder engine with the Pioneer 700 side-by-side, and instead of using a continuously variable transmission (CVT) like most other ATVs, the Rubicon 4x4 Automatic uses a three-speed transmission with both automatic and manual shift modes. It's a unique setup in the quad industry, and a good one at that. The Rubicon also gets independent suspension front and rear, and the unkillable reputation built-in.
Pricing and color info on the 2025 FourTrax Rubicon 4x4 Automatic is as follows:
- Colors: Hero Red; Matte Silver
- MSRP
- Matte Silver: $10,399
- Hero Red: $9,999
- Available: January

It has a fully automatic transmission, adjustable throttle limiter for those learning how to ride, and a low-maintenance setup to help minimize downtime and maximize the fun factor.
- Colors: Red
- MSRP: $3,449
- Available: January
