2012 John Deere Gator™ XUV 4x4 825i

I've had one 2011. It's a workhorse o the farm I even rake and haul round bales around on a hay trailer. I even took it on vacation in Colorado and i kept up with most. Only been in shop once and I have 1000 hours and 7000 miles

I have to stop this machine to shift gears! John Deere dealer told us they were aware of the problem and all we could do is lubricate the shifter. My husband was the primary user of this machine and chose to work around it. He has been deceased for 2 years and this beast is now my problem. I ... would like to resolve this issue so I have the option to sell it! "I will never have a John Deere of any sort on my property again"!

Bought this new, price came to almost $14,000. I have put 246 miles on it and I just had the second clutch go out. This thing is terrible, all I use it for is to drive around my property, never hauled a trailer or pulled anything strictly used to just cruise around the property and up to the corner ... store. Of course John Deere hasn't stood by their product either so every time has been an out of pocket fix. For the first use after a new clutch it does great but that's about it.

I have had the machine 4.5 years. We have over 5000 miles on the machine with no repairs to date. It works hard on the farm daily. It is my teenagers truck and has been run hard with good performance.

I don't drive the gator all that much and it got stuck in high gear. The John Deer place just called and it needs a new clutch. Unbelievable. It is new and garage kept! There is a major problem with this XUV. It is great to drive when it works.

bought it 20012 new top bumper guard auto dump bed @ 110 hrs the clutch went out they fexed it shifts hard and feels strange i am afriad to go far from the house on fear of walking back i am soory i boight this thing should have got a honda

I love my 825i! I use it daily for jobs around my farm and spraying and picking up rocks in the field! I have had one problem with the breaks grinding, or rubbing, but I have not had that problem lately. I am also interested in buying a John Deere Buck 500 for quicker and smaller jobs.

I got a John Deere gator 825I I brought last October at first I love it it had good pulling power and it has been a good work horse but here lately it been hard on gas. I hauled firewood for 3 days straight and I spent 25 dollors a day on gas
