Tennessee's Xtreme SXS Powersports Pitches In After Deadly Tornado

This past May, a deadly EF-4 tornado devastated Kentucky's towns of London and Somerset. In the wake of the disaster, Lafollette-based dealer Xtreme SXS Powersports stepped up by putting on a benefit ride with the raffle and proceeds going to those affected by the tornadoes.
Owners Angie and John Gultice championed the event that occurred June 7th. On top of the ride itself, the benefit event also played host to a raffle with prizes for discounts on Polaris RZR rentals, store credits, and more. Everything therein was contributed by way of local organizations who came together to achieve the common goal of helping their own community. The event was hosted out of Gultice's own dealership, with fundraising efforts occurring throughout the day.
While more than 20 people died in the London and Somerset tornadoes and nothing can come close to financially making up for such loss, it is wholesome to know that the affected community is working together to raise morale and help offset some of the cost of the damage that occurred on May 16th.
“We’re from Ohio and Tornado Alley,” Angie Gultice told the local news station. “We’ve seen numerous devastating tornadoes there, so we know the feeling and the heartbreak that comes with that. We didn’t even have to think about it. It was a no-brainer.”
Kudos to the Gultices and those who participated in the charity event for trying to bring about some good in the wake of such an awful occurrence.
