Maine ATV Ride for a Cure Rolls Into Topsham This Fall
Ride for a Cure brings its Central Region event back to the Topsham Fairgrounds in Maine on Saturday, October 17, 2026, pairing a scenic trail ride with a full day of activities and fundraising for cancer support programs.
Miles of Trails, and More Than a Ride
The centerpiece is a scenic ATV ride along Maine trails, but the fairgrounds itself will be busy. According to organizers, the goal is to raise awareness for every form of cancer while backing Maine organizations that help patients and their families directly. Money raised funds services including meals, transportation, patient resources, and support programs for people going through cancer treatment.
The event runs under the message "Conquer Cancer in All Colors."
What's New and What's Returning
This year adds a blindfolded obstacle course competition that tests riders' communication and teamwork — a good excuse to see how well you and a partner actually work together when one of you can't see the trail.
Returning attractions include the Tilt Master and face painting, plus a pie smash and a performance by Crooked Cabin.
A Community Effort
For the Central Region event, Ride for a Cure has teamed up with local clubs including the Topsham Trailriders, Central Maine ATV Club, and China Four Seasons Club. Those clubs know these trails, which should make for a well-run ride.
Organizers say the day is built around community for cancer survivors, patients, families, and supporters as much as the ride itself. It's a chance to put your rig to work for a cause and connect with other Maine riders whose lives have been touched by cancer.
The trails run close to home, and so does the money raised.
