2006 Yamaha YFZ 450

I'm buying one soon this week, this is not a quad for people that wanna cruise around on trails, it's got a lot of power, I love it. I was checking the specs of it, before I bought it and put in my opinion to others. If you are looking for a trail bike. This isn't the quad for you. This quad has ... guts. The owner can get it up to almost 90. It's fast, better for racing. It's is also a high maintainer quad. It's not for someone who just wants to mud then put it away, you need to love it and it will love you too. Although anything with an engine needs to be maintained, this requires more. It's got a lot of power, be careful and don't just buy a 450 if you are new, buy a smaller size then trade up. Overall really good bike.

fairly good quad, very boggy at low end but very good at mid and top range rpm, very good suspension, gears could be tighter, could use a more reliable cooling fan it went on mine, i like how it has a magnet in the motor to pull out metal shavings, starter and battery could be better both of them ... went on mine. i am looking into buying a 2010 yfz450r se
