I love it
By Matt Williams (I am an Owner) on Dec 24, 2016I bought mine new in 2007 and use it for everything from mowing grass to skidding logs for fire wood. It gets used very hard, broke some things my mistake. I had to put about 1500.00 into it so far to replace things I broke or wore out. I love this four wheeler I will buy it again when I decide to ... stop put money in it but its hard it paid for its self many times now I have over 5000 miles and 3000 hours and it still runs like the day in got it home. I hope when I retire it the newer models are jus as good. The only thing I wish the 1'' receiver was stronger.

versatile machine
By paul (I am an Owner) on Sep 09, 2010If I had one ATV this would be it. Amazing how functional it is. Great cruiser and for carrying others. Put the seat down and it hauls anything you need. I love the longer wheelbase which smooths out the ride. I've had it four years and no problems.

Polaris X2
By Charles Escarcega (I am an Owner) on Mar 24, 2010I currently own two Polaris X2 500 EFI quads and I absolutely LOVE THEM. My father-in-law initially purchased his two X2's first and I was a little skeptical as to how they would perform. At that time, I previously owned 2 Honda Foreman 450 ES quads. After I rode the X2 and compared it to my ... Honda's, there was no comparison. The independent rear suspension provided an extremely comfortable ride, not to mention the carrying capacity and extended range due to the 6 gallon fuel tank. A month after my first ride on an X2, I sold my Hondas and put the money down on the two X2s that I currently own. I have ridden my X2s through plenty of mud, snow and rocky trails and they have always exceeded my expectations when it comes to performance. The 6 gallon tank has also allowed us to do 80+ mile rides with fuel to spare. The only disadvantage I could think is that I had to sell my old trailer and upgrade to a bigger trailer, due to the length of the X2 quad. Other than that, I would highly recommend this quad to anyone who is doesn't need to go fast (over 55 mph) and is looking for a hard working, reliable machine.
