Awesome Quad
By Anthony Crowe (I am an Owner) on Jan 07, 2019Great ride with lots of power. Only problem is with the PDM. Most people think they go bad but it actually is the 16 pin connector. Polaris in all it's engineering genius put to much load on the 12 volt pin and it overheats and melt. And here is the reason they only get a "Good" from me. Polaris ... knows this is a big problem but will not address it and never has. Oh and they will not sell you the 16 pin plug they want you to buy an entire wiring harness.

Chinese crap
By Darrell Johnson (I am an Owner) on May 25, 2018Bought new. Got rid of it in 2015 after thepdm. died. Polaris in all their wisdom took out the fuse box and put in the Chinese Power distribution module. So instead of needing a fuse you get to replace the PEN fora mere $500. That's right 5 bills folks. Will buy japanese.

Great four wheeler
By Connor (I am an Owner) on Mar 19, 2017I have had no problems with my Polaris and it has 1333 miles on it. The only things that I have needed to replace were the front wheel bearings and the belt. It is really tough, last summer my front right tire came off the bead and it dug in and flipped. It landed hard on the back and didn't bend ... the frame only the rack support and the back bumper. My friend has a newer arctic cat 550 and the Polaris 500 has way more power.

Great Quad not for downhill
By thomas jacobs (I am an Owner) on Nov 16, 2009Japanese quads look like tonka toys next to this thing. It's a truck. Impossible to get stuck. Going down hill is another story. When I bought this thing salesman did not explain it didn't have engine braking. I had ebs installed but it only works for rear wheels which drag when going down steep ... hills. After a while you learn to go down hills under power to keep clutch engaged, this helps a lot. If your riding in an area with really steep hills get a quad with a manuel transmission or good engine braking. I haven't ridden polaris quad with ADC. Ride is like a cadillac, you don't feel beat-up after a full day of riding. Very heavy quad, get power steering if can afford it. Fuel injection is flawless, really nice if riding at high altitude. It is a beast!
