2008 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Automatic

I bought this machine back in 2008. I use it for the wife and I to take slow rides down on the beach. Years later I was asked by some much younger guys if I would like to go trail ridding and mudding. I had never been so I said let's do it. The machine did very well. Better than I had expected. Though ... the only problem I did have which I have had off and on was the shifter not responding from L/H to R. It only does this when the motor is hot. The Cat handled the deep water and very rough mud fantastic. Good fuel consumption as well as handling. Great ground clearance too.

Machine has lots of power and torque for a 400 and is exceptionally good on gas. You also get a larger tank then most other models. Handles and responds well. Only negative is the gear shifter. Does not respond well sometimes. Great to work on as well as everything is inline.

Good machine for the money . The ride not the best for all day rides but very good machine on technically trail and mud .motor is not to bad for a 400 and its pretty good on gas. When riding at slow or fast it tends to push when turning. Ground clearance better than most atv . You get a lot for ... less money . The article cat 400 4x4 2008 is a great buy for hunting,mudding, work and slower trail rides.
