Amazing machine
By Tim Potteiger (I am an Owner) on Jun 15, 2013If you were dumb like me and bought the first year model, well that's our bad, but even still, Arctic Cat has done more in warranty service so far above and beyond any call making us happy well beyond the 6 month warranty. We had oil leaks, they replaced the engine with a brand new one, no questions ... asked. We have bent a rear radius rod on 1 machine, but not the other. We have now changed the clutching to the new Rapid reponse Team Clutch and STM roller secondary and added Muzzy Stage 1 kits. It romps all over XPs in every way now. This is by far the best sand duning machine on the market in SxSs. Don't listen to the haters. AC rocks. They had some first year kinks, but they worked all that out now, changing engine case design and clutching. The new X is amazing right off the showroom. They really should have released it in X trim from day 1, but live and learn AC. I'll be hard pressed to go back Polaris unless they ditch the golf cart top heavy design for something more stable. Not knocking Polaris, the XP is an amazing machine, but the Wildcat dusts it for the type of riding we do.

4.7
By Mike (I am an Owner) on May 07, 2013Purchased my Wildcat back in November and finally got a chance to take it out in April. Mind you during that whole time I had it in storage I kept it running so it just didn't sit all that time. So when I finally got a chance to ride in April, my wife an I got all geared-up for a long ride and I ... got it up to 70mph and the engine just died :(! We went just 4.7 miles on La Mirage dry lake bed! We had to walk back. Now the Wildcat is in the shop. Hope the warranty covers it and I hope I didn't buy a peice of JUNK!

whimp Cat 1000
By George Rickenbacker (I am an Enthusiast) on Apr 14, 2013I sure am Glad I didn't waste $17000 dollars on one of these crap piles, I was smart and let my friend do it insted,,, and his is junk. Oil seal leaks, valve adjustments after every ride, in general the motor is the problem, it seems that R&D was skipped before this went into production, and the ... public is the test pilots. AC needs to perfect the motor before they sell any more of these.

BIGGEST P.O.S. EVER
By mike macy (I am an Owner) on Apr 06, 2013Crap!!!! It looks at a rock you have a flat. Oil leaks, Transmission Leaks and VEYS POWERSPORTS does not stand behind there products that they sell. I all ready had to replace frame, I hit a 12'revine and tore off upper and lower a arms Arctic Cat needs to stick to the snow. Trust me you will be ... very disappointed with a Wildcat. GET A POLARIS

Lorraine in Idaho
By Lorraine (I am an Owner) on Mar 04, 2013I purchased this new last December. It has Arctic trax's. It's been driven down a groomed road 4 times. It's been in the shop after every use!!! First problem was a dead battery. Being in the high mountains of Idaho this could have been life threatening. Next issue, over heating! I do not over work ... this machine. Like I said, it's going down a groomed road to our cabin. Once again yesterday upon returning we were overheating, after we parked it we noticed the coolant was empty. This had just been checked and filled by the Arctic cat mechanic before leaving! Going back in the shope again today!

A Moonlander for Earth
By Scott (I am an Owner) on Jan 04, 2013This machine astonishes me every time I jump into the cockpit. The seats hug both you and your passenger, you hit the accelerator pedal and its time for lift off. Literally, jumps bumps and whoops are no match for the suspension on this machine. It can tackle huge hills, boulders, mud and any terrain ... you can throw at it. If you are looking for the most advanced side by side on the market this is definitely it.

Awful...
By Cory Bride (I am an Owner) on Oct 09, 2012Purchased the Wildcat as soon as I could find one thinking it was an upgrade to the RZR. At 210 miles the vehicle has spent months in the shop and Arctic Cat will not warranty anything. Problems: BENT rear control arms, bad front control arm bushings, sloppy steering, and awful suspension.
...
After several dealer trips and trying to work with Arctic Cat directly I am left with a $17,000 machine that I cannot get warrantied. Perhaps the most irritating part is that after waiting a week for a return call from Arctic Cat customer service I asked to speak with a supervisor and was hung up on. Not what I expected.
I would highly recommend waiting for the Can-Am Maverick or sticking with the XP. Learn from my mistake!!!
BTW: My name is Cory Bride and I can be contacted at bridecory@yahoo.com. I would post my phone number but Arctic Cat should have that from the numerous messages I have left.

WILDCAT SEEMS PURFECT
By denver (I am an Owner) on Oct 02, 2012i just finished riding my new cat today and i can say im honestly super impressed. the suspension is everything they talk about. the comfort and style get a 10/10. the only mod i will be making is perhaps an exhaust change to a muzzy for an additional little boost of hp. would strongly recommend ... it.remember...your probably buying this for off roading comfort and fun, NOT to drag race on highways.

not very happy
By sean pecord (I am an Owner) on Jun 14, 2012was happy at first, then the leaks started, after 200 miles water pump leaking rear differtial leaking and rear brake line leaking,
after taking in for service and it sitting for 2 weeks i found out that arctic cat does not pay as well as other manufacteres on warranty work, so im sure my ... cat will get pushed back as long as there are other bikes there for warrany work!
