What Makes an Event Like "Trail of Missions" So Special?

Over the summer, we were invited to the 2024 Trail of Missions ride in the south side of the Baja Peninsula. We joined desert racing phenom Cameron Steele and his league of motorsports legends as they explore deep into Baja Sur's epic landscapes. (Check out their own full-length episode of the Desert Assassins Trail of Missions 2024.)

Trail of Missions is a private event like no other, traveling to small villages and ancient missions in search of tradition, history, and community. An aficionado of this Mexican state's cultural past, Cameron and his Desert Assassins led us (at full speed) through washes, canyons, untouched coastline, and the sands of time.

We were sent there by onX Off-Road to find out exactly what makes it so special. Take a seat somewhere comfy, grab a beverage, and hold on tight as we burn some fuel!

Pro Tip: Any type of vehicle, especially one which ventures off-road, comes with risks. And we encourage you to minimize those risks by wearing proper gear and adhere to riding etiquette whenever possible... The team at ATV.com does not condone riding without the right kind of equipment. Nor the improper use of any ORV machines. People featured in our unique YouTube videos are professionals. So, take caution when riding on your own.
