Kawasaki Mule Pro-FX/FXT 820, Pro-FXR 1000/FXT 1000 Are Back For 2025
Kawasaki's Mule is perhaps the backbone of the UTV world, and its lineage continues to make its way through the years with the machine coming back in a wide variety of models and trims for 2025. This week, Kawasaki announced the return of the Mule Pro-FX 820, Pro-FXT 820, Pro-FXR 1000, and Pro-FXT 1000 side-by-sides for the 2025 model year.
MULE PRO-FXâ„¢ 820 EPS and MULE PRO-FXTâ„¢ 820 EPS
The MULE PRO-FX 820 EPS features an 812cc engine, a sun top, and cast aluminum wheels, making it ideal for handling large loads confidently. If you need more seating capacity, the MULE PRO-FXT™ 820 EPS offers the same great features with an added second row. Using Kawasaki’s innovative Trans Cab™ system, it converts quickly between a three-passenger and six-passenger vehicle, offering flexibility for work or leisure.
MULE PRO-FXâ„¢ 1000 HD Edition
The MULE PRO-FX 1000 HD Edition is built for demanding jobs. It comes with three seats, a large cargo bed, and Kawasaki’s self-leveling suspension to ensure a smooth ride, even under heavy loads. The rear bumper adds protection, while the hydraulic lift for the tilting cargo bed makes unloading easy. The cargo bed measures 54.1 x 53.3 x 11 inches and can support up to 1,000 lbs., making it perfect for heavy-duty tasks.

The MULE PRO-FXR 1000 brings power and style together. Designed for both hard work and trail fun, it features a 999cc engine, three-passenger seating, and a compact design for easy maneuvering. Its cargo bed, which measures 37.5 x 53.3 x 11 inches, can hold up to 1,000 lbs. The MULE PRO-FXR 1000 LE offers additional premium touches like a painted grille cover, matching bodywork, and black cast aluminum wheels for a bold, high-quality look.
MULE PRO-FXTâ„¢ 1000 LE and MULE PRO-FXTâ„¢ 1000 LE Camo
The MULE PRO-FXT 1000 LE is a versatile workhorse featuring Kawasaki’s Trans Cab™ system, allowing easy transitions between 3-passenger and 6-passenger configurations. With black cast aluminum wheels and the ability to carry substantial loads, it’s ready for tough jobs. In three-passenger mode, the cargo bed measures 42.7 x 53.6 x 10.9 inches and can handle up to 1,000 lbs. In six-passenger mode, the bed size reduces to 22.0 x 53.6 x 10.9 inches with a 350-lb. capacity. The Camo edition adds the rugged TRUETIMBER® STRATA camouflage design, perfect for outdoor adventures.
MULE PRO-FXTâ„¢ 1000 LE Ranch Edition
The MULE PRO-FXT 1000 LE Ranch Edition stands out with its Metallic Deep Red paint and matching grille cover. It also includes premium features like machined-finish cast aluminum wheels and Ranch Edition emblems. Kawasaki’s self-leveling suspension and a WARN® VRX 45 winch with 50 feet of ¼-inch aircraft-grade steel rope and 4,500-lb. pulling capacity.
MULE PRO-FXTâ„¢ 1000 Platinum Ranch Edition
The MULE PRO-FXT 1000 Platinum Ranch Edition offers luxury and performance in one package. It features exclusive Metallic Stardust White paint, matching grille cover, and LED outer headlights, as well as brush and headlight guards for added protection. The interior is upgraded with soft leatherette seats, embroidered logos, front and rear shoulder guards, and a premium rearview mirror. Three-dimensional Platinum Ranch Edition emblems and machined cast aluminum wheels complete the high-end look. Like the Ranch Edition, it includes Kawasaki’s self-leveling rear suspension, rear bumper, and WARN® VRX 45 winch with a 4,500-lb. capacity, along with the versatile Trans Cab™ system.
