2004 Yamaha Raptor 660R

Just recently bought a 04 Raptor luv it lots of power I ride primarily wooded hilly terrain with some open hydro tower area's to let her rip and I'm 62

I do have to admit it does stand tall and it seems a little mid to top heavy compared to others but I have never had a quad or even a vehicle that has this much get up and go! Once the throttle is pushed you're automatically holding on so you don't fall off! I wouldn't trade mine for the world.

I bought my 660 Raptor 3yrs ago did a little exhaust work to loosen up the back pressure and went to a 14 tooth front sprocket.

Made a big difference in the power band.

I totally enjoy the hell of tearing up the trails in Clark County Wisconsin ... my Raptor.

I raced my raptor 660r in GNCC race and I never want to get rid of it EVER! I had to put a widening kit on the front for more sustainability around turns. I put lots of money into mine and am amazed by the power and torque from a small vehicle. I literally can Pop a wheelie in THIRD GEAR!!! Amazing ... machine!

I have a 660R raptor, its a 2003 and I bought it for 2,000 it's in perfect shape

the only problem i have is my starters loud,I was told thats the way they are but my 2005 350 doesn't do it, but it's still great!

I bought a used Raptor 660 for $2,000(Not $200) (My cousion thinks I said $200) two weeks ago. It is Really fast, fun, and dangerous. I love it. The only small problem I have with it is the handelbars are bent a little and it isn't the best going up a creek near my house. All in all i love the ... raptor 660 and I give it an A.

I HAVE HAD MY 2004 RAPTOR FOR ALMOST 6 YEARS.I LIKED THE POWER IT HAD NEVER HAD TO DO ANYTHING TO IT.BUT NNOW I HAVE PUT A 727 BIG BORE KIT STAGE TWO HOT CAM ALIEN DUAL EXHAUST. WIDENED IT 6IN IN THE FRONT PUT A DURA BLUE PLUS 2 AND 2.5 SPACERS IN THE BACK NOW ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY CANT STAY ... UP WITH IT ON THER RAPTORS AND 450R HONDAS.IT JUST THE BEST ATV I EVER HAD AND WILL KEEP IT TILL THERES NOTHING LEFT OF IT.

I've owned my Raptor for about 4 years now and can't say I have one complaint about it. I've ridden Suzuki, Honda, Boomdeer, and Kawi and wouldn't take any of them over my 660R. Some quads handle slightly better, but don't have the power or torque of the 660. Even after riding a 700 Raptor, I still ... like the 660 more. The only advantage the 700 has (if you could even call it an advantage) is the injection. It is nice not needing a choke, but not nice enough for me to trade the 660 off for another. Nice job Yami. I'll be keeping this one around for a long time.
