Excellent machine.
By Senior (I am an Owner) on Apr 25, 2023I bought my '06 Ozark 250 almost 10 years ago for cheap on Craigslist and havent regretted it since. I'm almost six foot two and 260 pounds and it never feels overwhelmed .. it always has enough power to haul anything I want it to. Its been through several iterations including, first; I put heavy ... racks front and back to carry firewood out at the campsite and secondly a hitch and ball to tow the PVC 1000 pound dump trailer I got from Princess Auto , more recently its been fitted with a winch and a Kolpin Switchblade snow plow. Though the plow hasnt been used yet, I see no reason for it to not do the job if I also, install the tire chains i picked up, or add more weight on the racks for momentum.
The most this wonderful little machine has cost me in maintenance has been replacing the battery this spring.
My friends continually offer to "take it off my hands" for a couple hundred bucks lol but no, I'll have this ATC till I'm dead and then it will go to the grandkids for their summer outings.
Its an excellent purchase anytime, for almost any price.

Fun!!!
By Rebecca Campbell (I am an Owner) on Sep 24, 2013This is the perfect ATV if you're looking for something at a lower end price and not over powerful. It gets the job done and makes for happy, fun times with the family. I bought mine in 2006 and have not regretted it!

Great ATV
By Dave (I am an Owner) on Sep 12, 2013I have a 2006 Ozark and I just love it.I just used it to haul about 12 sheets of broken up drywall up a 30 degree hill on a cheapie blue tarp. threw my fat ass old lady on the front rack to keep it from flipping over backwards.First gear gave a little gas and pow up the hill we went no problem.I'm ... a big guy and I don't feel underwhelmed on this machine even though its considered on the small side.Took it over to the sand hills and climbed them no problem. On the trails she feels like an extention of myself 'nimble'I love shifting this tranny seems everything I have is boring automatic,I like it because it's different.I test rode a new Honda 420 rancher before I found this little Susie gem used .The Susie is quieter and more nimble that that new rancher. It is very easy to maintain ,no CVT belts ,EFI.just cheap fun.If you see a nice used for sale you better snap it up,because it won't stay for sale long,I'm looking for another one for wifey or relatives to ride with me.
