Flywheel magnet failure
By John (I am an Owner) on Aug 16, 2012I bought my Eiger brand new in 2005. This machine has minimal use with only 1000 easy miles. The magnets let loose in the stator flywheel. The flywheel and stator are quite expensive and with the price of labor and parts it exceeds the book value of the machine. I own 3 Suzuki ATVs at this time. ... I am quite sure that me and Suzuki will never have a problem again.

Dependable
By Walter Gischel (I am an Owner) on Apr 19, 2011Ive owned my Eiger since I bought it new in 04,and it has been very dependable ,my son uses it to tear up the trails on our hunting propery and race around with his friends,I use it more as a work horse from hauling lumber and corn to pulling a trailer loaded with tools and equiptment to plowing ... fields and hauling out deer, Ive never had one problem with it,it sits in a shed on our hunting property for months at a time thru all kinds of weather and it never fails to fire right up,I have several friends with other brands of 4wheelers all newer than mine and they all seem to have maintanance problems that cost them a pretty penny to get fixed, I dont keep up on my regular maintanance as often as I should but my Eiger has never let me down, this is one dependable machine and if they still made the Eiger I would definatly buy me another one.

Awesome unit.
By Lou Gibb (I am an Owner) on Aug 11, 2010I have had my Eiger since new. The solid rear axel is a blessing when hauling heavy objects either out of the woods on major inclines or just pulling on flat ground. In the back woods and trails, this machine has been un-matched. Ya, my buddies beat me on straight aways but while in the bush or deep ... bog or water, I am usually the one winching their arses out of the junk. When and if my unit dies, I will be getting another Suzuki. I need some wood to knock on but my Eiger has NEVER left me hanging. Starts first time even in the dead of winter. I plow my 600 foot driveway with it also.
Great bike for everything.
