2012 KYMCO MXU 500i IRS 4x4

Bought a used 2012 mouth 500 IRS with 400 miles, fit n finish is top notch . This thing is very comfortable and quite the looker , operation is flawless . I would say it rides and feels Suzuki like , howerever there are some complaints. This bike needs more power ! It feels very sluggish for a ... 500cc atv and it appears kymco detuned it from the factory , what makes things worse is that there are no aftermarket parts for this ATV , No exhausts , no air filter and no fuel controllers either! If one could find some performance parts for this rig it would be 5/5 in my book. Good bike

Was shopping around for a few months for a smaller (300cc) trail machine for occasional use. Didn't take long to discover Kymco builds for Kawasaki, yamaha, Artic cat, and has been building Honda engines for 30 years. Bought a pre-owed 2012 500irs from a senior with about 300 miles on it. Works flawlessly, ... and is 10 times the machine my father owns (2005 suzuki). EFI, IRS, CVT.... It's a gem to trail ride, and the IRS allows for considerably more ground clearance. Only complaint is the plastics don't fit well, but otherwise I'm pleased.

I bought a 2012 kymco irs 500 and Dec 28 2013 never rode it Sept for on the trailer noticed a week later there was a leak brought it back was in the shop for a month brought it home woke up next day still leaking brought it back to the shop had it 3 weeks still didn't fix the problem brought it to ... a different dealer fix the issue ok at this point there was 3 miles on only thing I used it for was on the the farm for my food plots so I finally took it out on the trails I had 14 miles on it and I noticed that the over heat light on so I stopped it went off and came back on and didn't turn off so I put 45 miles on it and it had to go to the shop on July 23 2014 and it as been there ever since and it is august 13 so I don't think I will ever buy another kymco and I will try to trade it in I want a machine I can trust and not afraid to right it and be broke down some where
