It's a beast but
By M C (I am an Owner) on Sep 03, 2020In March 2020, just past warranty, catastrophic engine failure, cracked case. 30 days for dealer to determine Kymco would not warranty repairs. Dealership insists it was not put together properly at the factory. Order parts. Essentially ordering an entire engine by individual parts. Wait 6 weeks. ... Kymco shut down for a month due to COVID but didn't tell anyone until the returned and resumed operations. Check on status in July and all parts are in except one and they cannot start repairs without it. It's now September 2nd and not a peep out of the dealership. 6 months, REALLY!? But wait, there's more. Repairs on an $11,000 machine was 14 months old when taken in for repair...$4,000. Book value..$6-7,000. I'd never buy another. When it was running, I loved it. Work horse on the property and great for recreation. Parts and service...sh*t.
