Great UTV!!
By Peter Novotny (I am an Owner) on Dec 07, 2017We bought the diesel version for use on the farm and in the bush.
Pros:
Excellent value for the money!! Strong performance on low gear going up very steep hills in the mountains. Tow capacity excellent. Low fuel consumption. Great warranty service!
Cons: Pretty load - I wear earmuffs. ... Real axle seal started leaking after 100 hrs - dealer replaced on warranty. Front window was plastic and due to my "abuse" going through dense bush, scratched up fast. I had our local auto glass shop replace it with a glass windshield.
I bought the soft cab - if you have the extra money definitely worth getting the full cab enclosure

Kioti Mechron - WIll never buy another one
By Steve Mathers (I am an Enthusiast) on Nov 13, 20152 years old this month and has been nothing but problems. We use I on our dairy farm when it does go.
Problems: CV seals continually split
Steering collapsed 3 times
rear right hand shock absorber fell out
screws continually ... falling out
Throttle cable broke
all brake calipers have had to be
wiring to alternator broke twice.
Purchase price was $18990 AUD.
Cost of repairs so far would be approaching the purchase price.
We wasted a bundle of money on this one.

Lots of Problems
By Rodney Hanbaum (I am an Owner) on Feb 10, 2014I purchased a new 2013 2200 Mechron Kioti disiel in June of last year. Since then I have experienced nothing but problems, shifting hard, throttle sticking, rear seals leaking, and injection pump going out.!!! This UTV has not been abused, it was purchased for use on the faem to utilize deer hunting, ... hauling hay and firewood. The throttle has completely quite working on three occasions leaving me stranded in the woods having to be towed out,the clutch has had to be replaced only after one month to solve the shifting problems, and in Dec. the injection pump went out along with a rear seal. The UTV has been in the shop THIS time for the past three weeks and still has not been repaired. More problems with rear seals and injection pump. Although everything has been covered under warranty,I am very disappointed that I am experiencing so many problems with this UTV after reading such good reviews prior to purchase. Just wondering if anyone else has had any of these problems? The UTV HAS NOT been in MUD or water, just trails around the farm, nothing extreme, it only has 180 hours on it!!! Very frustrating....

Surpasses all expectations
By L MIxon (I am an Owner) on Nov 09, 2013First of all, when I began looking for a UTV, I wasn't looking for somethat that would go 70 mph and jump 100 ft sand dunes. I need a UTV to use on the farm, and do a little hunting. I also wanted a diesel power plant because I don't plan to buy another anytime soon.
After looking ... at the diesel I became convinced that the Kioti was the best value on the market. Since bringing it home it has impressed me more than I expected.
Very powerful, smooth ride, heavy frame and a great all- around UTV.
Highly recommend

Super tough UTV
By Mike Garrett (I am an Owner) on Aug 19, 2013I looked over, test drove, and dissected the UTV category. I didn't need to go 60 mph, I needed a tough UTV for work on our farms, spraying, fencing, etc. I wanted steel, not plastic, the Mechron is built. The Daewong 3 cylinder makes a little noise, but is one stout power plant. got the light/horn ... safety kit, took about an hour to install because of farms on a state highway. Looks nice and is really bright. Spend the $32.00 and get the axle guards. Took about 15 minutes to install and deflect junk away from those rubber CV boots. I'm happy with the Mechron for what I need to do and it is pretty darn good the river bottom trails we have. Just don't expect a speed demon. Just a great ride, smooth power band, heavy built, fun to drive work horse.
