2006 John Deere Buck 500

I(TM)m looking for parts for my Buck. I can(TM)t get parts anymore through the mechanics that work on it. They say it(TM)s too old. The part I(TM)m most interested in is the box on the handlebars that tells the machine to shift. I appreciate all the help I can get

About this about a year ago from an elderly man. He did a great job and keeping it well maintained. Anyways I was looking to see what it was work today and different kind of reviews and so far I've only seen good and great or excellent so I'm pretty happy with my purchase not to mention that I've ... had absolutely no issues with it whatsoever. I've literally went through anything and everything was it with no problems. Nothing mechanical or otherwise. I would have to I was just this particular quad. I own several and it may not be the fastest on the market but maybe one of the most dependable and with all the power you could need. So glad I have it

Does any one have a winch for the 2006 JD buck 500 and winch mount, if so, what kind? I'm having a hard time finding one

I have owned 2 for years and I have ridden and owned other brands and none can stand up to the power and dependability of the John Deere. I have used on the farm and on joyrides and on hardcore badlands rides and NEVER have I had an issue. I have buried it in mud to the seat and drive out of it. ...

If you have a chance to buy one DO IT AND YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT.

I've owned this JD Buck since new in 2006. It is lots of fun for myself and grand children. Always dependable, great on gas and gets all kinds of commendable comments from all that see it at home, on group rides. It's just another great John Deere product. If you've ever owned a John Deere then, ... you know. Always operate your vehicle safely and supervise those young or inexperienced riders! Have fun.
