Best quad i own
By Bruce (I am an Owner) on Aug 25, 2020I purchased a 2008 TRX 700 xx a few years ago and let me tell you it is a true beast nothing compares to the power handling and performance of this machine it is different from any other quad the rear independent suspension makes it grip and get... I own 2 TRX 700s One is for off-road one is for ... Street only. I would highly recommend getting one of course I also have a 450 and I love that machine as well but when I wanna turn heads and take names to 700Xx does the job They are also coming out with more performance parts for these machines every year The ones who owned a Honda 700 love it and the ones who hate on them never had one

Honda 700XX power upgrade
By Dan (I am an Owner) on Apr 23, 2017If you are planning on upgrading the exhaust and air filter, i recommend that you purchase a "Power Commander" if you don't, this machine will draw too much air and will run hot. Trust me I have a F.M.F. Power header pipe, F.M.F. muffler, K&N air filter and a "Power Commander unit"! This is ... the only way to get more power from this machine without touching the top end of the engine
Hope this helps all of you T.R.X. 700XX Honda owners!

700xx wheelie monster
By Brett (I am an Owner) on Mar 22, 2017I've been riding in the dunes for 30 years and 4 on this quad. It took a little while to get used to the amazing traction. It will pop up right after midrange if you have a heavy throttle hand like me. I added a pipe and the l8ton heavy sway bar. Handles like a straight axel quad now, except for ... ripping the handle bars out of your hands on a angled landing. Best quad for the dunes.

1 very happy woman!!!
By Carrieanne Scott (I am an Owner) on May 16, 2015I got my brand new 2008 TRX700xx (I am the 1 n only owner) in March of 2010 for my wedding present. We live in Oregon up in the mountains. We ride YEAR ROUND including snow (but I get stuck in the snow here n there). As well as ALL terrains such as gravel, mud, clay, dunes, trails and fields. I seriously ... couldn't be more happy!!!! I have rolled, crashed & completely flipped my quad n its tougher then any other atv/utv I've ever seen in my life. I have been riding sense 5 years old either on snowmobiles, 3 wheeler, 4 wheelers, dirt bikes & odysseys. I am now 25. I love the IRS so much better then a swing arm.. I barley have to shift my weight n turn the handle bars n can do perfect donuts in utter bliss.. I guess what I am trying to say is I would defiantly without a doubt drop 8k on this quad over n over again. If your wanting a tougher then nails bada** quad your wanting the TRX700xx!!!!!!!!!!! Now the 1 n only minor downfall is, the tires/wheel sizes & pattern. It is almost impossible to try n find tires off any kind of personal sales sites like craigslist because of the unique size.. So we don't even try anymore. Gotta buy brand new.. IDK if its the area I live in or what. But I have only seen 3 other 700xx in the last 5 years that I have owned my quad. Thank u Honda for an amazing machine!!! I love it more then ever!!!!

Had the 700xx for a Year
By Dick Madone (I am an Owner) on Aug 18, 2011I live in Texas and I have had it for a year now and haven't ridden it as much as I would like. I only have 20 hrs. on it according to the GPS I put on it every time I ride it. It is a red and black and before I ever rode it, I had the quad covered with clear plastic film. Like they use on autos ... as bras to keep from getting rock chips. I knew the black would scuff very easily from throwing my short legs over it and from brush scratches. It still looks brand new. This has turned out to be a good investment. Would do it again with any new quad I bought. Most of my riding was last Feb and March when we went to the Imperial Sand Dunes in Ca. and riding trails in Az. Lots of fast trail riding inn Az. and only one complaint. I had an '01 Raptor 660 before the Honda and it was carbed. The injection on the Honda is so smooth that the throttle is so easy to mash, it makes it hard to ride on rocky stuff because you are always blipping it when you hit rock, etc., and it wants to jump out from under you. It would be nice if it has some sort of friction screw that was adjustable. I haven't fallen in love with it as much as my Raptor but that will come with some more seat time. I also have an '07 Rhino that I bored out to 686 and put a turbo on it but it has not been reliable and am afraid to get to far from the truck. So the Honda has been the one of choice with dependability.

Sweet smoothe ride!
By Chris Bailey (I am an Owner) on Apr 18, 2011First off this quad is the first one I've gotten on since my 85 350X that actually felt like it had some speed. For years I kicked myself for getting rid of that. I even thought about trying to pick up a used 350X. I am very happy I stayed the course and purchased this machine. I had a Warrior ... back when it was very underpowered. I also have a 2009 700 Kaw quad. My wife rides that. Nice machine as it's automatic but can't beat the comfort and the speed of the Honda. I just purchased a two brothers pipe and K&N filter so hopefully will get a bit more out of the top end. I purchased this in Aug of 2009 and paid $5850 total out the door. I have been waiting to spend the money for the exhaust until this spring so can't wait to ride with that installed. The fuel injection is amazing starts so easy every time. Love the Quad the comfort is unmatched. Not sure it would outrun a 350X but not much would. Go out and get one if you are considering a new bike you won't be disappointed.

Best ride for your dollar.
By Eric Cogburn (I am an Owner) on Mar 20, 2011I just purchased a new TRX700XX a few months ago, and have been tearing up the sand dunes and trails in Texas every weekend. Since it was a 2008 model the price was knocked back a few hundred, but the savings was worth every cent. The fuel injection works like magic when you need to get started ... quickly. Cold weather starts no problem just flick the switch, wait 2 seconds and your fired up. I am impressed with the independent suspension on the rough terrain and bumps. Stock shocks could be adjusted or I could purchase better performance ones. Handles awsome on the salt flats, top speed will blow you away. I would say at least top 75+ or more. Just make sure your tire pressure is set and you have inspected your treads. Yes it's a heavy beast but the power makes up for that. As for turning or sliding in the sand it tends to dig into the ground on corners. Just have to lean a little more and kick the gas and it will come to life. I have taken it on several trail rides crossing steams about a foot deep. Handles the water pretty well but you will end up getting soaked from head to foot. Great ride great times.

By Conor hornbeck (I am an Owner) on Feb 04, 2011This is definitly the beat quad ive had. its the most powerfulest quad around here and the fastest everyone loves it!!! One thing thoe is the rear tire tread life is a zero but found some maxxis razors and they work better. All in all the quad gets 5 star ratting on my part

700XX, I love it.
By Scott True (I am an Owner) on Mar 02, 2010Ok, I went far and long to decide what to buy for an ATV. I've Had ATV's since 3 Wheelers and 250r's. I finally ponied up and got rid of my 4x4's and got back into a sport machine and bought an Outlaw 500. Loved the IRS but not the machine. I then got the 700XX and kick myself over and over for ... not getting it sooner. I've had no issues and it has been great. I still ride with my 4x4 buddies and go most places they do, I do stay out of the deep mud but I wasn't a fan of burying my machine when I had a 4x4 so I'm not missing too much. Speed.... wow.... speed, really smooth power, HONDA knows how to get it right. I bought mine on sale, over 2K of savings, so it's been a great value for me.

2008 Honda TRX 700xx
By Garrett (I am an Owner) on Nov 28, 2009Got it about a week ago and it is awesome. it has a lot of power behind it and the speed is amazing. the only downside to it is the weight, but its still a great quad. what the weight takes away the power puts back. i really like the IRS. it makes it more stable and makes it more comfortable to ride ... if your goin through trails with alot of bumps and holes.

Trx 700xx
By Mario M (I am an Owner) on Jun 11, 2009I'm the first one to buy the 700xx in Las Vegas. I bought my xx back in April 08 and I'm very happy with it. The xx has a nice ride to it and you can ride all day on this quad without getting tired. Anyone that takes the trail with lots of rock I'll recommend this quad.
