Hisun
By Pat Rogers (I am an Owner) on Sep 08, 2019My friend talked us into getting a Hisun. He is now apologizing profusely. Our 1st purchase was a 2015 Strike 900. We immediately had to turn it in for warranty work...rough ride....clutch....not sure it was about $1500 I believe. Took it out maybe 2 or 3 times a year. This year our problems ... continued... The clutch had been replaced during the 1st warranty work and it had to be done again besides some new tires we had about $2600 in work done in it. Brought it home and parked it in the garage when I went out to drive it it wouldn't start and when we finally got it started still seemed to be having problems. They were going to replace the whole dashboard - which was gonna cost us another 3 -$400. We reluctantly traded it in for a 2019 sector 750 Hisun. We were so happy because it was sold with an enclosure which we had had a difficult time finding for our hisun 900 Strike. When we purchased the 750 during test drive it would only go 45 miles an hour which truly wasn't an issue to us. We purchased it on Friday afternoon brand new ..went for a short drive Saturday and a long drive on Sunday. We had probly put 80 miles on it in the 2 days. At the end of Sunday drive.2 hours away from camp we were on our way back when the hisun all the sudden made a horrible grinding noise and lost all shifting. We were told it was a belt and how rare it was that it happened. After a $300 towing bill and being stranded for 4 hours hisun gave us a $150 credit on extras and we took it in for repairs again. Went to pick it up and now it was doing the whole grinding thing at about 35 miles an hour. We drove 2.5 hours to specifically pick it up...we truthfully would like our money back...I am in service industry I need someone from Hisun to step it up and back there product....or something. Not normally a review complainer type but with what we have spent...could of spent 25k on something that...I feel now are more reliable.
