Shaking head............POS
By Stan (I am an Owner) on Jan 11, 2014Got this thing as a farm utility vehicle. What a waste. Run where it's wet/swamping, have to replace exhaust pipe cause it cracked from getting wet. Two major structural pieces were riveted on and one came off, the other almost. From the start, squealing alternator belt. Seller's mechanic says ... that's just the way they are. Then a week after warranty ends, clutch mechanism shreds. Informed by dealer that load capacity is really only 150lbs. So now, have a farm utility vehicle that I can't really do much with because the warranty is expired and it's expensive as all get out for parts. Wish we'd never have gotten this thing.

Nice Machine
By Mike Rothenberger (I am an Owner) on Jan 21, 2011my Volunteer 4x4 EFI has plenty of power, rides great, and has great steering.. With a windshied installed for winter use, the heat from the engine comes out between seats, and helps out somewhat. The specs say 35 mph, but mine only goes 24 mph using GPS. The shifter is smooth, and it helps to shift ... into neutral at the moment before coming to a stop. It has large diameter axles, and a cast iron heavy duty rear end.. the lockers work good to, making all 4 wheels pull if needed. I put a shield between the right rear tire and the alternator, thinking I need to keep the mud out of electrical parts.
More later as I use it more.

Cub Cadet: Do not waste your money!!!
By Johnson (I am an Owner) on Jan 13, 2011I purchased a Cub Cadet UV about two years ago because a friend of mine worked for the company. I have replaced the key switch, battery, starter, winch, and drive belt since I got it. It is very slow compared to Yamaha and Polaris. I have been trying to sell it for the past year and no one even wants ... to call about it. Now I am stuck with a slow piece of crap money pit!!!
