Nightmare
By Tiny van Pinxteren (I am an Owner) on Aug 08, 2011After riding a John Deere 650 Buck ATV for 5 years, I was very satisfied with my ATV lifestyle.
Having very good results with my 700 diesel for my business made me very comfortable buying an Arctic Cat for own use. Because I am in a wheelchair and was used to carry it in the rear box of my ... John Deere, made me decide to buy an 2010 700 TBX.
After only a few weeks, my gastank gauge gave up. The dealer fixed it under warrenty. A month later the ATV left me stranded in the back of my property because the fuel pump did no work any longer. Again, the dealer fixed it under warrenty.Over the next half year my ATV left me stranded another 5 times and the dealer replaced pretty well every electronic component except the electric wire harnass and still having stalling problem. In the winter, while ploughing the lane way, the transmission belt drive on the crankshaft came loose and stalled the engine. I could not move it and the dealer picked it up to get it fixed under warrenty. After that I told the dealer, if it brakes down one more time that I did no longer wanted that machine. Not even 3 weeks later, the ATV had an electronic problem again.
The dealer was fair and took the 700 TBX back on a trade in on a TRV 1000 cruiser.
I hope that I have more luck with this one. I keep my fingers crossed.
