Honda's Powersports division announced a new round of machines today, further building on the company's already large ATV and UTV portfolio. Headlining the show is the Pioneer 1000-5 Trail Special Edition, a version fitted with an assortment of upgrades usually only available via the accessory book. Other models available for 2025 are the Pioneer 1000-6 Deluxe Crew, FourTrax Recon ATV, and TRX250X sport ATV. Honda says all of these models will be available as soon as November of this year.

2025 Pioneer 1000

The aforementioned Pioneer 1000-5 Trail Special Edition is what Honda is most proud of in this news release, highlighted by a slew of factory-installed accessories usually set for purchase at your local dealer. It comes equipped with a weatherproof Bluetooth-capable audio system that features a dashboard media controller, roof, two-piece windshield, and more.

Otherwise, Pioneer 1000s seem to be largely unchanged. TrueTimber Atera camo is available as a color scheme, and the machine remains available in three- and five-seat variants. Electric Power Steering remains available on the Pioneer 1000 EPS as well, and the Deluxe version continues to strike the value chord.

2025 Pioneer 1000-6 Deluxe Crew

The six-seat 1000-class Honda UTV returns as well, powered by a 999cc parallel-twin engine and a continued focus on efficiency and work functionality. Pioneer 1000-6 models get a tow/haul mode, self-leveling rear suspension, and other features to make it optimal for a job site.

Here's pricing and the color choices for the 2025 Pioneer 1000-6 Deluxe Crew:

  • Colors: TrueTimber Atera Camo; Hero Red; Black Forest Green

2025 FourTrax Recon

When the apocalypse rolls around, it'll be cockroaches and the Honda Recon. The venerable ATV is Honda's smallest "multipurpose" machine, and it's still running a 229cc engine that is effectively unkillable. It returns for 2025, and pricing and colors are as follows:

  • Colors: Hero Red; Black Forest Green
  • MSRP
    • FourTrax Recon ES: $5,049
    • FourTrax Recon: $4,799

2025 TRX250X

We're still lamenting the death of the 450-class sport quads, but thankfully at least Honda is still continuing to build the entry-level TRX250X sport ATV to help bring enthusiasts into the hobby and sport. It uses a 229cc engine and sends power through the SportClutch setup. The 250X is manufactured in the USA, and is available for 2025 solely in Red paint and for $5,399.
