First Look: 2025 CFMoto ZFORCE Z10 & Z10-4
CFMoto continues to outdo themselves, pushing their boundaries in the off-road space with exciting new offerings in their 2025 lineup: the ZFORCE Z10 and Z10-4. Crafted to handle mountains of sand, but viable for woods and wide-open deserts as well, this was the turbocharged void that the brand had been working for years to fill. For their 35th birthday, with all their closest 500 or so friends, they walked two high-powered Sport side-by-sides down the proverbial runway in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
A bit wider and more powerful than their counterparts – the 950 and 800, these 998cc three-cylinder dune rippers are built for hooligans demanding quality engineering, respectable horsepower, maneuverability, comfort and luxury features, plus a Tesla-ish control panel… All with an approachable price point. And that’s just it; the whole campaign this year is consumer-driven. “You asked; we engineered…” So they say.
It seems clear that customers and dealer feedback was critical for new designs and updates in 2025. Styling choices alone are evidence of a call-to-action. And adding to their selection of leisure and utility vehicles in their lineup gives them a well-rounded catalog to satisfy their growing CFMoto community across the board in Motorcycles, ATVs, and the Side-by-Side sectors. Combining a formidable suspension package, a potent powerplant, and an array of premium features, CFMoto pledges a bright future with the Z10 & Z10-4.
Engine & Performance
At the heart of the Z10 and Z10-4 lies a turbocharged 998cc three-cylinder engine, churning out an aggressive 143 horsepower at 7,750 RPM and 100 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 RPM. This powerplant, combined with the redesigned OmniDrive™ CVT transmission, is promising seamless performance whether you're surfing the sand, serving up speed in the open desert, or carving through trails. We’re told to expect smooth transitions and effortless control, with power on tap for every scenario (fingers crossed).
Suspension & Handling
Handling the rough stuff is where CFMoto believes the Z10/4 will truly shine. Equipped with FOX QSE shocks paired with Eibach springs, the suspension system offers three adjustable modes – Soft, Medium, and Firm – accessible from the cab. With an array of interests and potential terrain in your horizon, you can customize your ride via controls on the multi-function steering wheel. Additionally, this fresh take on their Sport series boasts a wide 64-inch stance and 14-inches of ground clearance, which should ensure stability and control no matter the challenge.

Technology & Features
Technology plays a starring role in the Z10 experience. The 12.3-inch CFMoto RideSync™ MMI touchscreen, featuring Apple CarPlay and a backup camera, gives you all the sci-fi spaceship feels. Or, to relate to something a little closer to earth, it looks akin to the massive display found in Hyundai’s Ioniq 7. While this could be something between innovation and distraction, it’s an interesting futuristic turn for the powersports segment. We’re still a little skeptical whenever we see yet another all-computerized and seemingly fragile part or accessory added to a side-by-side intended to stress its components to the max. However, we’re open to being proven wrong.
It is an interesting piece of equipment, no less. Moreover, the command center (and subsequent accessory ports available) give us plenty to play with at the push of a button – or tap, or swipe, or whatever. From navigating trails to tuning your suspension through the FOX app integration, everything is, at the very least, within easy reach. Add the 4500-lb synthetic-line winch, four-mode electronic power steering, and NFC key access for added convenience, and you have a pretty enticing machine.
Interior & Comfort
CFMoto has not skimped on comfort and convenience in the Z10 series. The interior offers a premium feel with key components like half doors, a multi-function steering wheel, and adjustable FOX QSE shocks to smooth out your ride. The interior is designed with comfortable bucket seats, substantial leg room (and knee room, this was important), plenty of adjustability, and a plethora of overbuilt accessories for customization like a roof rack and bolt-to-frame rock sliders.
Pricing & Availability
True to CFMoto’s ethos of delivering value-packed products, the Z10 and Z10-4 are set to hit dealerships at competitive price points. The two-seater Z10 kicks off with an MSRP of $19,999, while competitors sit in the $21,999 to $23,999 range. And the four-passenger Z10-4 starts at $22,999 while the rivals hang out around $24,999 to $29,999.
A Bit of Feedback from the Fans
The tenacious Chinese-American company has kept this under wraps as best they could, presumably hoping to perfect the model’s features before releasing it to the public. First impressions from the audience at CFMoto’s annual dealer convention were loud and fervent; hooting and hollering followed by a resounding applause from the audience. And this is before anyone had a closer look.
But even after many (many) fingerprints riddled the interior and exterior of the Z10 and Z10-4, with folks touching and testing anything within reach, the murmur amongst the crowd was still quite positive. Furthermore, after a full day of demo rides, the feedback consisted of words like “agile, comfortable, responsive, and plenty powerful.” So, needless to say, the crew at ATV.com can’t wait to grab the wheel for an extended ride and test these brand-new beasts ourselves.
Final Thoughts
While the company can’t be considered a spring chicken, CFMoto has only been around long enough to take chances, make mistakes, absorb criticisms and in turn develop the more refined and stylized vehicles they’ve put into production recently, from Motos to ATVs to, of course, SxS and UTVs. It’s been a long while since a “young gun” has gone up against the European and Japanese juggernauts, as well as our (very few) American heritage manufacturers…And survived.
CFMoto has had good seasons and bad, but they seem to have the gumption required to take a fall and get back up again – perhaps better than ever. In the past couple of years they’ve come out swinging, and we’re looking forward to seeing if this “hit” is going to land with the powersports community.
