2010 Polaris Ranger® RZR® 170

I received this vehicle new in 2010 and it still works for me today. I have not encountered any problems with the vehicle other than the fenders cracking which is expected when going trail/oops not a trail there riding.

Do not waste your money on these things! Frame is broke in half, they won't start half the time, and we can't keep them out of the shop. These things are not rode hard at all! Awful, unsafe crap!

WE BOUGHT THIS 2010 rzr 170 FOR OUR SON IN 2010 FOR Christmas- it was in the shop on and off about 10 weeks the first year - the frame broke, we took it in to get it fixed again because the sprocket was worn down after a couple of months - the cdi box caught fire - backfires - disconnected the E ... - brake because they said that was the only way they could fix it - will never buy Polaris again and we are writing a letter to the company!!!

We got our son a palaris 170 for christmas 2010.(MISTAKE)THIS POLARIS IS NOT SAFE!!!!!! wouldnt start,seats not bolted in from the factory,axle nuts came out messed up serveral things,now today 5/15/2011 the FRAME is broke in two places.this polaris is hardly riding.it goes up a dirt road and back ... down we live in the city it has not been rode hard at all...i called polaris when the seats wernt bolted in they told me it was under warranty and also told me buy the extented warranty on it.THIS IS A SAFTY PROBLEM

I purchased 2 of these rzr 170s one pink one red. both are 2010s. In the first 2 hours of riding in our pasture a stick went through the bottom and stuck in my daughters leg. They will not fix or admitt could be a faulty floor. Both machines backfire, starter went out, throttle stuck and stoped ... running before 10 hours on pink one. We have owned them 8 months, the pink one has been in shop a total of 16 weeks on and off. The red one has been back to shop 4 times. Neither one runs right. The company will not fix they patch till warranty runs out. and the polaris website will NOT let you write a Bad reveiw. I wish I would have found this site before I purchased them. My daughter has a scar for life and I wasted $8000! plus medical expenses! AWFUL value! a GO cart is alot cheaper and just as safe.
