Why Windrock Park, TN is the Ultimate Off-Road Destination
When it comes to off-road destinations, some places just do it better than most. Windrock Park in Tennessee is one place you just don’t want to miss.
We spent a few days enjoying everything Windrock Park had to offer this summer and to say we came away impressed is a pretty big understatement.
A Destination Yamaha partner, Windrock Park offers a lot more than just a place to ride and explore off-road. This 73,000-acre privately owned facility has more than 300 miles of marked and mapped trails that cover everything from wide open gravel roads to some tough and technical rock crawling, to some absolutely awesome mud crawling in the spring and fall.
To find great trails in your state, or any other state, head on over to the Off-Road Trails Hub on ATV.com. And thanks to Destination Yamaha for supporting this amazing resource for off-roaders!
Windrock Park. It also is a great place to enjoy an extended stay. You can live it up in one of more than 50 fully furnished cabins (each with excellent WiFi and full kitchens), 70 RV sites, more than 100 primitive camping sites, and five yurts.
If you are coming from far away and don’t want to haul your machines with you, you can rent one of many Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000 models they have on hand thanks to their partnership with Destination Yamaha.
A great place to meet up while you are here is the Windrock General Store. That’s where you can pick up your permits or rent one of the Wolverines. You can also grab snacks, cool drinks, or even any gear that you may have forgotten at home.
If you are flying in for an amazing off-road vacation from afar (like we did), the Knoxville airport is less than an hour away.
The bottom line is Windrock Park is an off-road gem that you need to put in your bucket list. It’s time to plan your trip to Tennessee for an adventure you won’t soon forget. Find our more about Windrock Park here.
