We joined Can-Am racer Dustin Jones at Muddy Bottoms ATV & Recreation Park in Louisiana to get a closer look at the 2025 Can-Am Outlander X MR 1000R. Designed specifically for deep mud, the X MR comes equipped with a 1,000cc Rotax V-twin, upgraded suspension, and 30-inch Cryptid tires right from the factory.

This wasn’t a staged demo. We followed Dustin through real-world conditions—deep ruts, standing water, and thick, sticky mud—to see how the Outlander holds up when things get messy. It’s a purpose-built machine, and this was a fitting place to see what it’s capable of.

Watch the video to see how it performs in the kind of terrain it was made for.
